Day 14

After picking up the repaired tooth plate and checking he looks ok!!We head off towards Wellington then Parkes on the Newell Highway. We drive into a plague of “Plague Locusts” and make it very difficult to see out the windscreen. It takes Alan quite some time to clean them off our radiator too. Must be a huge problem out here for the crop farmers. We drive towards West Wyalong where it has been raining. Great for the locals but we are not sure if we want to set up camp. The rain eases and we decide to stay here the night. Wendy and Nick are staying at Parkes tonight. We will catch up somewhere down the track.
