Looks like rain this morning so we take umbrellas and head off to Milsons Point on the train where we meet Wendy & Nick and my brother David and wife Liz and Shannon and Suzanne Cross and Husbands for lunch at the Kirribilli Club. The Cross family, parents Ian and Beryl were close friends of my mum and dad when they were all first married and who both died recently so we decided on a get-together . Again, I had not seen the girls since I was about 12, so almost 40 years ago!! None of us had changed a bit!! Lovely lunch and lots of photos and promises to keep in touch and we headed back to a very wet and soggy camp. Rain is still falling and hope it stops for us to pack up. For now though it is an early night in preparation for leaving tomorrow for Mudgee and hopefully some dry weather.
