Moonta Bay to Port Lincoln

Alan in Whyalla Dust storms in northern Eyre Peninsula
Day 23

Drove from Moonta bay, and it was very hot. Up to 39 degrees so not much fun outside of the air con car. Stopped at Whyalla for lunch and the weather hadn’t improved so we continued on to Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula where we bought a couple dozen fresh oysters. The red dust storms were in full force all the way down towards Port Lincoln and it was sad to see the drought up close. Arrived at the caravan park in Port Lincoln, a lovely ocean view park but the southerly wind made it quite unpleasant to set up. We decide not to put up our awning and eat dinner in the camp kitchen but we are hopeful that the weather will improve tomorrow.PS the oysters are the freshest and plumpest we have ever tasted!! YUM!!
