Day 53
Played golf at Margaret River about 9am. They have just held their big tournament here over the weekend (unfortunately we were too late to get in the draw) so the course is in top condition. We are welcomed by John and Mandy who are very good friends of my golf friend at home, Trudi Cox. The course is great (I had a good score too which helps) and unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera so you will have to believe me that this is a must play country WA course if any of you golfers are in this area. We decide that we will stay here tonight as well and decide to visit a couple more wineries, Xanadu and Watershed and have some wine being sent home, as all the wineries are offering free delivery within Australia for cartons as well. We hope the girls don’t think it is a gift for them when it arrives at home!!!
