Golf or no golf!!!!

Day 55
We drove about 45 minutes to “The Cut” golf course (In the top 3 golf courses in Australia) and on arriving it started to rain!! Our first wet day since Coffin Bay (S.A.) and we decide that it is not worth it to pay for or play such a magnificent course in the rain. We will decide if we are going to come back tomorrow and make some plans for the day. Drove to Freemantle to check out caravan parks, it is about an hour’s drive and we find a cafe which we had been to 3 years ago in the centre of Freo and we knew had good coffee. With a couple of lattes under our belts and after checking caravan parks, we make some decisions!! We will stay in Rockingham another night and try and play at the Cut tomorrow and will book into a park close to Freemantle for Thursday for 3 nights. As it is Anzac long weekend here we think it’s better to book ahead to get the park we want. It is fining up and we drive back to Mandurah to another course Alan knows, Meadow Springs, where we are lucky to be able to play 18 holes for the afternoon. It is fining up although a little windy but it is such a pretty parkland course with lush green fairways and course in great condition that we have an unexpectedly nice arvo.
